I'm realizing that shorter posts are easier to manage since I want to include so many pictures. I intended to not make this "summary" of last year too long, but as I go I am remembering more and more I don't want to forget (like Annie's hugs). So here are a few things we did in July last year after my brother left on his mission.
We went to a Colors concert at a local celebration. Adam's coworker who he has worked with a lot this year played the keyboard for them so he took the opportunity to go behind the stage and take some fun pictures. After the concert came fireworks. It was a very fun evening.
This year Marie got a new, good job and bought a cute little house not too far from ours. We had a housewarming party and a birthday party for her there. I don't have many pictures, but the kids had fun on the stairs. Here Hyrum was playing with my Grandpa.
And here are some pictures of our kids just being cute. Annie loves to play with her "babies" whether that means her dollies or stuffed animals. She pretends to feed and change them and put them to bed. Lately she has started to do preschool or nursery for them. She sets out several of them and sings to them, reads them stories, gives them a snack and lays them all down for a nap (she knows about preschool from when we have Hyrum's preschool at our house).
I forgot to add these last couple of pictures from Adam's trip with his Young Men. They took another overnight backpacking trip to prepare for the big one in August.
