I am so excited that spring is coming. Actually it seems that winter and spring have been having a tug of war with our weather for a while. But the undeniable signs that spring is going to win are starting to pop up all over. The mountains are fuzzy green and tiny green leaves are making their appearance on the first aspen tree in our yard. Little buds will soon be in bloom on the fruit trees and the daffodils and crocus and a few tulips are already smiling away some of the winter monotony.
It seems appropriate that spring is appearing and bringing a fresh new start to life just as we heard the messages from our prophet and church leaders at General Conference. There were so many messages that I want to apply to my life. There were especially a lot of good messages about parenting. I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and for the fresh start to life that is available to everyone at any time no matter what they are trying to overcome through the atonement of Jesus Christ.
