Last September Adam's parents came to visit for a few days. They were able to be here for Adam's birthday, which rarely happens. A couple of days before his birthday we went to Snowbird to enjoy the brilliant fall colors and then we stopped by one of Hyrum's favorite places, "the airplane museum." We didn't know it until we got there, but they were having a special event that day, which meant it was extremely crowded, but it also meant that we got to go inside of or at least climb up next to and look inside of many of the cockpits.
Annie loved doing "upsie-daysie" with Grandma and Grandpa.
Then we went to the museum where the kids actually got to sit in the cockpits of several airplanes. Pretty cool for a little boy who is obsessed with airplanes!
Hyrum with Grandma and Grandpa inside one of Hyrum's favorites, I think it was a C47.
Checking out the P-38, another favorite airplane (and the definite favorite of Grandpa).
They even had giant bubbles for the kids. Hyrum was excited about being in the middle of a giant bubble. Annie wasn't so sure about that, but the picture makes it look like she was inside one.
We celebrated Adam's birthday. We had a party with his parents, mine and my Haws grandparents.
