Raspberries

I am grateful for neighbors who grow raspberries right next to our fence. Our own attempts at planting them in a contained area of our yard failed miserably this year. All but one plant died. We'll see what happens next year. But in the mean time, many of our neighbors' raspberries have grown through the fence. Last year we were worried about them spreading and taking over our lawn, but this year Adam was nice enough to let the ones that were just barely on our side or poking through the fence grow. Now they are really in the way when it is time to mow because they are so heavy with fruit and growing so low to the ground. But the kids LOVE to pick and eat them.
